Picnic in the Park 2022

Setup began around 9.30am on Saturday 2^nd July... with much relief, that the early morning rain appeared to have passed over.  Various people were heard saying "have you seen the new postbox topper, isn't it fantastic!".  Our secret postbox topper 'crochet genius' came up trumps again, with this amazing 'Picnic in the Park' creation... How many of you have pressed the cherry?

What talented bakers we have on Aston Lodge... Gorgeous cakes and bakes added to our picnics and our waistlines too!

Over 100 prizes were donated for the tombola... Were you a lucky winner?  A summer fayre favourite, enjoyed by the children and adults alike!

Some people say, 'there is no such thing as too many plants'... from lavender to succulents, garden tools and baskets. This stall was simply 'plantastic'!

A flavour of the day... Our stalls were bursting with donations. The sun made an appearance, and the music was carried on the summer breeze. Ice creams were licked, beer was drunk and good times were had by all.

Many thanks to the Aston Lodge residents that gave donations, bought from the stalls and supported the event... We made over £400, which will directly enable ALRA to support our lovely estate.
