December 2025

End of Year Stats

In December, our volunteers completed 9 sessions, and put in a total of 24 hours.

Over 2025, they completed 132 sessions, totalling a staggering: 527 hours!


November 2025

Colder weather

Despite the colder weather, the volunteers put in 52 hours, over 11 sessions.


October 2025

Kingsland Footpath Cleared

In October, the volunteers carried out 12 sessions, putting in a total of 38 hours.

September 2025

Work continues...

This month, the volunteers put in 40 hours of time, over 11 sessions, and Blue Frog assisted once more, taking away two tonne bags of gardening waste.


August 2025

Tonnes of green waste

The volunteers have been hard at work again this month.  Despite holidays and dodging the showers, they were able to put in 8 sessions, totalling 37 hours!  Blue Frog collected two tonne bags of green waste, and the council collected a further 23 green bags of gardening waste.


July 2025

Long path maintenance

This month, the volunteers put in a total of 68 hours, over 17 separate sessions and Blue Frog helped again, by disposing of 4 tonne bags of waste.

June 2025

Even warmer weather - 30 degrees!

Despite the heat, the volunteers still managed to put in 50 hours this month, over 15 sessions.


May 2025

Warmer weather this month

Record breaking temperatures, didn't stop the volunteers... They put in a total of 64 hours, over 15 sessions, with 3 tonne bags of green waste taken away by Blue Frog.

Also in May, the volunteers finished painting the equipment in the upper park (a task that was started last year).

April 2025

Another productive month

Volunteers put in another 41 hours this month, over 9 sessions.

More work this month

Volunteers put in 44 hours this month, over 10 sessions.


February 2025

Work continues

The gardening volunteers have put in 33 hours this month, over 7 sessions.  Thanks again to Blue Frog, for helping out, by taking away four tonne bags of waste.


January 2025

Back to work

I know that the gardening volunteers were back at work on 2nd January and by the end of the month, they'd completed eight sessions, totalling 36 hours.

In recognition of all their hard work to date, ALRA provided sandwiches and wraps for their New Year get together, on 19th January.
